About the Artist Embellished Canvas   For a superior and brilliant Giclee the original painting is printed on heavy,
museum quality, Fine Art Canvas using Pigment-based, K3 Ultra Chrome inks that are archival for over 100 years. Next the canvas is mounted on a high quality, Ampersand Hardboard Panel for protection and ease of framing Then the artist, J Hicks, personally hand embellishes the canvas with the same oil paints used in the creation of the original. Finally the finished painting is sealed and hand signed by the artist for an individual one-of-a-kind work of art that is often hard to distinguish from the original. Placing a 12x16 painting in standard framing could give a 18x22 finished size.  As with all Fine Art, professional framing is recommended to protect your investment.

What are Giclee Prints?  This is a French term meaning "spraying of ink."    
This technique produces a quality print with a lush, velvety finish. Images are generated from high resolution digital images and printed with archival quality inks onto museum quality paper or canvas. The Giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction and provides incredible detail for the look and feel of the original work of art. Fine Art Giclees are often personally signed and hand embellished by the artist which makes them difficult to distinguish from the original and greatly increases the value of the art.
